Dear Andreas,
Hi Folks,
Yesterday, I got reminded that it has been a while since I have said
anything about the strategic direction(s) Tweak is taking. For those of you
following the update stream closely you might have seen some updates hinting
on a number of things but since this is sometimes hard to guess here is a

Looks like Andreas is busy so we'll likely have to wait for a
definitive answer to this ...

But I'll try to briefly respond to the main points mentioned in that
one-year old mail (http://impara.de/pipermail/tweak/2005-February/
000431.html):

* we are 3.8-based by now
* we use Monticello packages in an MCConfiguration for most updates,
still have an update stream for complex changes
* Islands are used now for projects, we might switch soon to the
Croquet island model
* the new graphics interface is still in development
* etoys work pretty well
* not much has happened regarding a scripting syntax AFAIK
