Hi, Tim,
The Axim has a GPU, of I don't know wich power, so it could probably be a
better performer than your machine.
Ciao

My RISC OS machine is an Iyonix PC which runs a 600MHz XScale 80321 -
a very similar cpu to that in most PDAs - and tweak performance is
not particularly thrilling. Which, considering that under a large
suite of fairly complex benchmarks it scores about 30x Dorado, is a
bit depressing. Back in the old days (cue soft violin music, misty
filter on the lens etc) a score of >50% Dorado meant a quite snappy
machine. All those cycles are going somewhere so the question must
always be "are they going somewhere useful to me". Of course, a lot
of graphic performance these days can be gained with good GPUs and
good GPU programming. Do pocketPC machine have any of either?
